Discretionary Grants

UPDATE: The Board of Commissioners will review and allocate grant requests twice a year. Fall grant requests are due by October 1 and Spring grant requests will be due by April 1 each year.  Please submit requests using the online application portal (link below).  Fall grant requests will be reviewed  in November and Spring grant requests will be reviewed in May.  Awards will be allocated following the review process. 

Discretionary Grant Checklist:

1. You have an Oregon Tax ID Number.
2. You have proof of Non-Profit Status ready for upload to the Discretionary Grant Application Form.
3. Fill-out the Discretionary Grant Form via the online grant portal that can be found here:  https://weblink.deschutes.org/Forms/discretionarygrantapplication

ARPA Funds

All Deschutes County ARPA funds have been allocated as of August 23, 2023. If you have an ARPA-related question, please email arpa@deschutes.org. 

In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) was signed into law. The bill gives emergency funding for state, local, territorial, and tribal governments to provide relief to support public health response work and equitable economic recovery. Deschutes County will receive more than $38 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds.
