Weekly Road Construction Update - March 2 to March 8
Projects Administered by Deschutes County:
NW Sedgewick Avenue Culvert Replacement (Terrebonne Area) – Crews will be doing culvert work on NW Sedgewick Avenue between NW 19th Street and NW 31st Street.
Traffic Information – NW Sedgewick Avenue between NW 19th Street and NW 31st Street will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, March 3, and continuing through Thursday, March 6. Access will be maintained for local traffic. All other traffic should use detour routes via NW Odem Avenue and NW Almeter Way.
Hamehook Road Bridge Replacement (Bend Area) – No work will be occurring.
Traffic Information – Road users should continue to use caution when travelling through the work zone.
Projects Administered by Other Agencies:
U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) – Crews will be performing sewer work on 11th Street between C Avenue and U.S. 97. Crews will also be working on U.S. 97 near Lower Bridge Way.
Traffic Information – 11th Street will be closed to traffic between C Avenue north to U.S. 97. Signed detour routes are in place. Within other work areas, road users should use caution and anticipate construction vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
Woodside Drive Irrigation Crossing (Arnold Irrigation District) – Crews will be doing irrigation work on Woodside Drive between Pine Vista Drive and Rusticate Road.
Traffic Information – Woodside Drive will be closed to traffic between Pine Vista Drive and Rusticate Road. Traffic will detour via Knott Road and Pine Vista Drive.
Northwest Way Utility Work (City of Redmond) – Crews will be doing utility work on Northwest Way near NW Spruce Avenue.
Traffic Information – Northwest Way is closed to through traffic between NW Maple Avenue and NW Upas Avenue. Traffic will detour via NW Maple Avenue, NW 35th Street and NW Upas Avenue. Access will be maintained for local traffic.
Other Road Impacts:
Cascade Lakes Highway Closed – Cascade Lakes Highway is closed to traffic between Mt. Bachelor and FS Road 4270 for the winter. The Deschutes County Road Department will aim to remove the snow that accumulates over the winter season and open Cascade Lakes Highway prior to Memorial Day 2025, weather permitting.
Paulina Lake Road Closed – Paulina Lake Road is closed to traffic east of the Ten Mile Sno-Park for the winter. The Deschutes County Road Department will aim to remove the snow that accumulates over the winter season and open Paulina Lake Road prior to Memorial Day 2025, weather permitting.
