Proposal Status

The applications were received by the Planning Division on July 13, 2022. A public hearing was conducted by a Deschutes County Hearings Officer on March 21, 2023. In June 2023, the Hearings Officer's recommended denial of the applicant's request  unless the Applicant demonstrates the requested Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Zone Change are consistent with Statewide Planning Goal 5. The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will conduct a second hearing on June 12, 2024. If you would like to testify, please review the Notice of Public Hearing document for more information. Both in-person and remote participation are allowed.
