Filing Paperwork With Our Court

Deschutes County Justice Court is different than the circuit and municipal courts. Our court does not have e-filing.

Justice Court requires original, wet (ink), signatures for all Motions, Orders, Claims, Judgment requests, Answers, Waivers, Affidavits, Forms provided by the court, etc. If the court receives a copy or email version of what should be an original signature, please indicate when you mailed the original so the court can flag the case. The non-original filing will not be filed with the case until the original is received. We do not go by the post-mark for the date filed. E-signatures and DocuSign signatures will still require a "wet signature" in addition, when filing with the court.
