Downtown Bend Campus Access Impacted By Road Construction Project:
Access to the Deschutes Services Building at 1300 NW Wall St. in Bend will be impacted by City of Bend road work on Olney Avenue beginning Monday, Feb. 3. Detours are expected to be in place through Fall 2025. During this time, the intersection of Wall Street and Olney Avenue will be closed. The County Clerk is the official keeper of all public records for the County. The Clerk's Office is responsible for processing all real property transactions, plats, Commissioners' Journal documents and Property Value Appeals Board petitions for Deschutes County. In addition, the Clerk's office oversees the Archive/Records Center.
The County Clerk is also the chief election official of the County. The office plans, coordinates and conducts all elections in Deschutes County. It ensures that elections are conducted according to statute and other related requirements.
The Clerk's Office also issues marriage and antique dealers licenses and accepts passport applications.
