2018 Stewardship Award

The County Commissioners and the County's Noxious Weed Advisory Board presented a Land Stewardship award to Kent Pressman this morning. Mr. Pressman has donated many hours of volunteer time to help pull and control knapweed in the China Hat Road area and throughout the county.

The Noxious Weed Advisory Board first presented a Land Stewardship award to the Put a Shine on La Pine group for their work on noxious weeds. Since that time the Noxious Weed Advisory Board has decided that they will seek out other individuals or groups working on land stewardship related to noxious weeds and present them with this award annually to hold them up as positive examples that others may follow.
