REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Juvenile Community Justice Building Remodel

Deschutes County (hereinafter referred to as “Owner”) will receive bids for the renovation of approximately 2,400 sq. ft. of the detention facility located on the first floor of the Deschutes County Juvenile Community Justice Building in Bend, Oregon.

Work: The work consists of demolition of existing cabinetry, interior bearing and nonbearing walls, ceilings and plumbing fixtures. Relocation of existing mechanical ducting, plumbing and electrical as required. Construction of new walls, ceilings, cabinetry, structural beams and
columns and finishes. Remodel will serve to convert an unused detention shelter into two meeting rooms, two offices, two storage rooms, one bathroom and one new coffee bar for the detention department. There will also be upgrades to the site and two existing public restrooms to bring items into compliance with the ADA code.
