The Drop is a center that serves youth and young adults in Deschutes County ages 14 to 27.  Located in Redmond and Bend, The Drop is meant to be a safe and supportive place where people make connections that could have a positive impact on their life.  

Immunizations are an excellent way to protect against many serious diseases. For information about Deschutes County's immunization clinic, click here.

In Deschutes County, mental health counseling and other clinical services are offered to youth and families with involvement in the juvenile justice system.

The Adolescent Health and Development team works in the community offering support and resources on a variety of important topics. Content covered includes peer pressure, finding reliable health information, accessing community resources, sexual health, and maintaining healthy relationships. Our health educators coordinate multiple programs and work closely with schools and youth serving organizations.

The Environmental Health Specialists' primary job is to minimize or eliminate potentially harmful situations in public places and to contain and stop the spread of diseases if and when they occur.

Many clinics in Deschutes County offer testing for Tuberculosis. If there is a positive test, Deschutes County Health Services is involved in finding out where each person may have become infected and to whom they may have passed the bacteria.
