Notice of Special Transportation Fund Advisory Committee Meeting

The Deschutes County Special Transportation Fund Advisory Committee will meet on August 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the C.E. Lyon Room, located on the first floor of the Deschutes County Services Building at 1300 NW Wall Street, Bend, Oregon.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the following requests for grant funding from the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Special Transportation Fund Formula Program to support transportation services for the elderly and persons with disabilities:

• Cascades East Transit – Rural Service:  $1,034,000
• ​Opportunity Foundation of Central Oregon:  $80,000
• Abilitree:  $144,760

$517,711 will be available for grant awards each year of the 2015-17 biennium, for a total of $1,035,422.
