Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order No. 20-16, which defines rules for public meetings, including local budget meetings, during the COVID-19 emergency period, publication requirements of budget committee meeting notices may be satisfied by posting the notice in a prominent manner on the internet.

NOTICE OF DESCHUTES COUNTY BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Deschutes County Budget Committee, Deschutes County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, will be held at the Deschutes Services Center, 1300 NW Wall Street, Bend, Oregon. The meeting will take place on May 26th, 2020, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.  Due to COVID-19 precautions, Deschutes County has limited public access to county offices and is following social distancing rules. This meeting will be streamed live and will be recorded at www.deschutes.org/meetings.  Because COVID-19 restrictions may limit or preclude in-person attendance, citizen input comments may be emailed to citizeninput@deschutes.org  or a voicemail left at 541.385.1734.  Please check with County staff at 541.388.6570 for current status. To be timely, citizen input must be received by 8:00am on the day of the meeting.
