REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NEGUS RECYCLING & TRANSFER FACILITY
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Deschutes County Department of Solid Waste is soliciting proposals to provide technical assistance, planning, engineering, design and construction management services for the development of a new solid waste recycling and transfer facility in Redmond, Oregon.
In general, the services include:
- Performing preliminary planning work including, but not limited to review of existing design and operation data on the Negus Transfer Station, performing geotechnical investigation for structural design, preparation of preliminary design documents and preparation of a Design Criteria Memorandum for the new facility
- Providing assistance in procuring a Conditional Use Permit for the new facility
- Preparation of detailed facility design and construction bid documents
- Providing construction management services during project implementation
The Request for Proposal may be obtained or examined at the Deschutes County Department of Solid Waste offices at the address listed below or viewed at https://www.deschutes.org/rfps.
Proposers must submit 5 proposal copies by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at the Deschutes County Solid Waste Department, 61050 S.E. 27th Street, Bend, Oregon 97702. Proposals should be addressed to Timm Schimke, Director of Solid Waste. Proposals may be submitted in person or by mail and must be received by the Solid Waste Department by the due date and time specified above. E-mail or facsimile proposals will not be accepted.
