Deschutes County Legal Department
The Deschutes County Legal Department is the provider of legal services to County elected and appointed officials, County departments, various boards (e.g., Fair Board, Dog Board) and Commissions (e.g., the Planning Commission).
The Deschutes County Legal Department represents Deschutes County, which is a political subdivision of the State of Oregon. Legal Counsel does not represent residents of Deschutes County, and does not represent any of the elected officials and employees in their individual capacities. The Legal Department only provides representation and opinions to the elected officials or employees for matters involving their official duties.
