News Release - Filing Deadlines for May 17, 2016 Primary Election
Release Date: 2/29/2016
Candidates:
- March 8, 2016 is the last day for a candidate to file
- March 10, 2016 is the last day for candidates to file material for inclusion in county voters’ pamphlet
Measures/Arguments:
- March 17, 2016 is the last day for a District to give notice of measure election (deadline passed for County or City)
- March 21, 2016 is the last day to file measure arguments for county voters’ pamphlet
The filing fee for an argument is:
| Electoral District’s Active Voter Registration | Measure Argument Fee |
| Less than 1,000 within the county | $100 |
| 1,000 to 4,999 within the county | $200 |
| 5,000 to 9,999 within the county | $250 |
| 10,000 to 24,999 within the county | $350 |
| 25,000 and over within the county | $400 |
