News Release - Tree Removal Project on South Century Drive and Spring River Road Begins Tuesday

On Tuesday, June 21, the traffic light at Venture Lane and South Century Drive in Sunriver will be shut off at 8:30 a.m. and will remain off for most of the day. The Deschutes County Road Department will be working with a contractor to remove trees in the area. Flaggers will be controlling the intersection, which may cause traffic delays.

Crews will be working to remove hazardous trees in the right of way along South Century Drive and Spring River Road. Work will begin near the Sunriver roundabout and conclude at Harpers Bridge on Spring River Road. The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday, June 24.
