ROAD CONSTRUCTION: Asphalt Overlay for Huntington Road and Burgess Road
On Thursday, May 28, 2015, construction crews will begin work on the asphalt overlay for Huntington Road and Burgess Road in Deschutes County, Oregon. Work will consist of the following:
- Installation of a waterproof membrane on the bridge over the Little Deschutes River on Burgess Road.
- Three (3) inch asphalt overlay on Burgess Road from Day Road to Huntington Road and a grind/inlay/two (2) inch overlay on Huntington Road from the north entrance to Bi-Mart in La Pine to Burgess Road.
The contract completion date is June 19, 2015.
Traffic will be limited to one lane and drivers can expect delays of up to 20 minutes during construction. Hours of operation will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Drivers should use alternate routes where possible.
