Teresa Cousineau, PA-C
Teresa grew up in western New York and attended undergraduate school at Plattsburg State College, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. She received her Physician Assistant degree from the School of Allied Health at SUNY Stonybrook, on Long Island, NY. After graduation she moved to Seattle and practiced in primary care for 7 years. Although a New York native, she considers the Pacific Northwest her home. She has been practicing in Bend over 20 years, primarily in urgent care but also neurology and dermatology. She feels it is a privilege to provide care for patients and guide them on their medical journey to achieve their best possible health outcomes. She believes patient education is paramount in enabling patients to make informed decisions and ensure treatment success.
Matt Reed, PA-C
Prior to agreeing to work at Deschutes Onsite Clinic as a full time provider starting 11/18/24, Matt has worked as needed at the doc since the summer of 2023. During his time working at the doc he fell in love with the clinic and the members it serves. That is why he jumped at the opportunity to work full time here when the position became available. Matt knows the local community well as he has worked for Urgent Care at Summit Health for more than a decade, worked in Internal Medicine at Bend Memorial Clinic prior to his urgent care work, and continues to work part time at Mt Bachelor Ski Area’s Mountain Clinic. Before moving to Bend, Matt was the healthcare provider at Pine Eagle Clinic, a Federally Qualified Rural Health Clinic in Halfway, OR. He has a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health and Sciences University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Economics from UC Santa Barbara. Matt became interested in healthcare though his certifications as an EMT and wilderness first responder when he was a wilderness guide, and he still loves getting out backpacking, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing, especially when it’s with his two college-aged kids.
