Road work on C Avenue in Terrebonne begins Monday, July 8
C Avenue in Terrebonne will be temporarily closed between Hwy 97 and 6th Street beginning Monday, July 8. The closure is to allow for the construction of sidewalks, on-street parking areas, storm sewer facilities, and other improvements along the frontage of Terrebonne Community School as part of the C Avenue Safe Routes to Schools project. The road closure is anticipated to be in effect through Tuesday, August 13. A detour route will be provided for the duration of the project.
The $397,000 project will be constructed by Deschutes County’s contractor, Knife River Corporation – Northwest, and is being funded in large part by an Oregon Safe Routes to Schools Infrastructure Grant.
