Sisemore Road bridge to close for rehabilitation work on June 2

On Monday, June 1, work will begin on the Sisemore Road bridge rehabilitation project. The project will include concrete repair, drainage improvements, strengthening, and other rehabilitation work on the historic Bull Springs bridge, which was originally constructed in 1914. 

The project will continue the service life of the structure while maintaining and restoring the structure’s historic nature and appearance. The bridge is located on Sisemore Road, near the intersection with Tumalo Reservoir Road, crossing the outflow of Tumalo Reservoir. The $499,000 project will be constructed by the County’s contractor, Marcum & Sons LLC.

Beginning Tuesday, June 2, Sisemore Road at the bridge will be closed to allow for construction of the project; the road closure will be in effect for the duration of the project. The project is anticipated to be completed by September 18.
