Weekly Road Construction Update - August 25 to August 31

Projects Administered by Deschutes County:

Chip Seal (Bend Area) – Deschutes County crews will be chip sealing the following roads (weather permitting):

• O.B. Riley Road
• Boones Borough Drive

Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Powell Butte Highway/Butler Market Road Intersection Improvement (Bend Area) – Crews will be installing streetlights and doing landscape work at the intersection of Powell Butte Highway and Butler Market Road.

Traffic Information – While the roundabout is open to traffic, crews continue to work at the intersection. Road users can expect intermittent shoulder closures, along with construction vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the roadway during work hours, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please use caution when driving through the area.

Projects Administered by Other Agencies:

US 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) – Crews will be doing demolition and excavation work on 11^th Street between US 97 and Smith Rock Way in Terrebonne.

Traffic Information – 11th Street will be closed to through traffic between US 97 and Central Avenue. A designated detour route is in place via C Avenue, NW 16^th Street and F Avenue. Road users can expect intermittent single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers during work hours. Access for local traffic will be maintained during construction.
