On Monday, Sept. 23, Deschutes County Clerk Steve Dennison recognized the winner of the  “I Voted” Sticker Contest for the 2024 General Election.

2024 "I Voted" Sticker Contest (6-12 Student Entries)

The middle to high school (6-12) sticker design contest concluded on June 30, 2024. 6 students from 6 different schools submitted entries. Thank you students from Cascade Middle School, High Desert Middle School, Mountain View High School, Sisters High School, Sky View Middle School,  and Trinity Lutheran School for your creative designs.

Congratulations to Eli Hogan, senior from Mountain View High School. Eli's "I Voted" sticker will be available to pick up at our office and city halls from October 18, 2024 to Election Day.

    • 08/29/24    Last day for candidate, who files candidacy with county clerk, to file statement for county voters' pamphlet.

The Deschutes County Clerk’s Office invites local middle and high school students to enter the 2024 “I Voted” Sticker Contest before the June 30 contest deadline.

County Clerk to conduct a public certification test of vote tally system

Members of the public are invited to observe as the Deschutes County Clerk’s Office conducts the public certification test for the vote tally system prior to the May 21 Primary Election.

When:  Tuesday, May 7 at 9 a.m.

The May 21, 2024 Primary Election is underway, and the Deschutes County Elections Office is sharing some important information with voters as they prepare to exercise their right to vote.

2024 "I Voted" Sticker Contest (K-5 Student Entries)

The elementary school (K-5) sticker design contest concluded on December 31, 2023. 68 students from 6 elementary schools submitted entries. Thank you students from Buckingham Elementary, Highland Elementary, Lava Ridge Elementary, Pine Ridge Elementary, Sisters Elementary, and Vern Patrick Elementary schools for your wonderful designs.

Congratulations to Ivy Sapp, 2nd grader from Lava Ridge Elementary School. Ivy's “I Voted” sticker will be available to pick up at our office and city halls from May 3 to Election Day.

Deschutes County Elections Office to test vote counting system

In preparation for the Nov. 7 Special Election, the Clerk’s Office will test the County’s vote counting system at 9 a.m. on Oct 24. 

The certification is conducted before each election and occurs at the County Clerk’s Office which is on the second floor of 1300 NW Wall Street, Suite 202 in Bend. Please RSVP in advance if you plan to attend.
