Deschutes County Clerk's Office invites local students to enter the Deschutes County “I Voted” Sticker Contest. K-12 students are encouraged to design an “I Voted” sticker that will be used during the 2024 Presidential Primary and General elections, and featured in each election’s Voters’ Pamphlet.
In preparation for the March 14 Special Election, the Clerk’s Office will test the County’s vote counting system at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 6.
The certification is conducted before each election and occurs at the County Clerk’s Office which is on the second floor of 1300 NW Wall Street in Bend. Please RSVP in advance if you plan to attend.
Ballot drop sites close at 8 p.m. tonight. Initial election results will be posted HEREshortly thereafter. Final certified results will be available on or around Dec. 5.
Deschutes County is seeking new volunteer members who are interested in serving on its Board of Property Tax Appeals (BOPTA). BOPTA is responsible for hearing taxpayer appeals for reduction of the real market or assessed value of their real and personal property.
