Weekly Road Construction Update - Dec. 29, 2024, to Jan. 4, 2025

Projects Administered by Deschutes County:

Hamehook Road Bridge Replacement (Bend Area) – Crews will be doing bridge foundation work at the Hamehook Road Bridge east of Deschutes Market Road.

Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate construction vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the roadway during work hours, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Projects Administered by Other Agencies:

U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) – No work will be occurring.

Traffic Information – Road users should continue to exercise caution while traveling in construction work zones.

Other Road Impacts:

Cascade Lakes Highway Closed– Cascade Lakes Highway is closed to traffic between Mt. Bachelor and FS Road 4270 for the winter. The Deschutes County Road Department will aim to remove the snow that accumulates over the winter season and open Cascade Lakes Highway prior to Memorial Day 2025, weather permitting.

Paulina Lake Road Closed – Paulina Lake Road is closed to traffic east of the Ten Mile Sno-Park for the winter. The Deschutes County Road Department will aim to remove the snow that accumulates over the winter season and open Paulina Lake Road prior to Memorial Day 2025, weather permitting.
