Weekly Road Construction Update - Oct. 13 to Oct. 19
Projects Administered by Deschutes County:
Paving Deschutes Market Road/Tumalo Road: 19th Street to Tumalo Place (Bend Area) – Crews will be repairing pavement on Deschutes Market Road between Dale Road and the U.S. 97 overcrossing. The work will be done at night.
Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Lazy River Drive Mailbox Turnout Improvements (La Pine Area) – Crews will be doing concrete work for mailbox apron improvements on Lazy River Drive near South Century Drive.
Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Projects Administered by Other Agencies:
U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) – Crews will be doing grading work on 11th Street in Terrebonne between F Avenue and U.S. 97. Road users can also expect to see utility work in the project area.
Traffic Information – 11th Street will be closed to traffic from F Avenue north to U.S. 97. A designated detour route is in place via F Avenue, NW 16th Street and Smith Rock Way. Access for local traffic will be maintained during construction.
Other Road Impacts:
Huntington Road & Burgess Road Utility Work (La Pine Area) – Crews will be doing shoulder work along Burgess Road between Huntington Road and U.S. 97.
Traffic Information – Intermittent single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers may occur on Burgess Road. Road users should expect delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours.
River Summit Drive/ FS 45 Closure (Sunriver Area) – River Summit Drive/Forest Service Road 45 is closed to traffic until further notice due to fire activity.
Traffic Information – River Summit Drive/Forest Service Road 45 is closed to traffic. Use alternate route.
