Can Homeowners Apply for Permits?

Homeowners can apply for permits on Oregon ePermitting, but in order to apply online the homeowner needs to add the correct permissions, also known as homeowner licenses, to gain access to the system to apply. Follow the instructions below on how to add the correct homeowner licenses to your account.

If you haven't checked in with staff regarding your project, we strongly suggest that you contact staff prior to applying online. Visit the Contact Us page for more information. 

Save your email and password in a safe location as you will most likely need to log back into the account to view your approved Construction Plans and Site Plan.

You do not need licenses associated to your account to apply for an Onsite/Septic Permits on the Oregon ePermitting website. However, at time of application we request that you add the license of the septic professional assigned to the job. See Note See Note
