How to Upload Documents to a Permit

This section will help with the following questions:

  • I forgot to upload a document when I applied for my permit, how do I go back and upload the document into the permit? 
  • A staff requested Additional Information, how do I upload the requested information to the permit?
  • I need to upload my As-Built so I can then schedule my final inspection for my Onsite Permit, how do I upload this document?

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your Oregon permitting account. https://aca-oregon.accela.com/oregon/Default.aspx
  2. Find the permit in your dashboard or search for jobsite address using the numbers and first three letters of street name.
  3. Open the permit by clicking on the blue hyperlink ending , the permit id should end in letters such as -STR, -DWL, -PRMT, or -AUTH, etc. 
  4. Using the drop down menu for Record Info/Schedule Inspections, click on Documents Upload/View.
    1. Note: This step takes up one to minute for Accela to load current documents for the permit.
  5. Click the Add button at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Upload all documents to file window, then click continue.
  7. Select Type and enter a description for each document, then click save.

What happens Next?

  • Staff will receive a notification automatically once the document has been uploaded. There is no need to email staff about the document, permit technicians will process uploaded documents by when they were uploaded. 
  • If the permit is in Application Intake review an email will be send to the applicant for either a request on remaining outstanding documents, or a request for intake fee payment.
  • If the Permit is in Plan review, the Permit Technician will notify the appropriate Department (Planning, Environmental Soils/Building) for review.  The status of the permit will change from ‘Additional info needed’ to ‘Additional Info Received’. Refer to our Permit Status page to periodically check what part of the permit process your permit is in.
