Angling and Shellfish Licenses

Per ORS 497.162 single-day Angling and shellfish licenses are available for persons receiving Intellectual/Developmental Disability (IDD) services.

 

The licenses issued under this subsection shall be in bearer form, are for the sole benefit of the person enrolled in IDD services and subject to applicable laws and regulations relating to angling in Oregon. Licenses are provided for a single date; licenses can be issued for multiple dates.

Deschutes County IDD program can only issue licenses to those enrolled in services in Deschutes County. If enrolled in services in another county, please refer to this website: https://www.oregon.gov/odhs/idd/Pages/cddp.aspx

 

If fishing the Columbia river basin, an additional license is needed – a Daily Columbia River Basin Endorsement.

Licenses will be emailed, unless you specify otherwise. Alternative delivery methods are mail, pick-up at one of our office locations, or add the license to your ODFW Account (provide your ODFW ID #)

So that we can check your eligibility for issuance, please provide the following information:

  • Legal First name
  • Legal Last name
  • DOB

So we can issue the correct license, please specify:

  • Date or date range for use: Licenses are for a SINGLE day but multiple can be requested to cover multiple days.
  • Indicate need for a Columbia river basin endorsement, yes or no. (Not sure, review - https://myodfw.com)
