Suicide Prevention Videos

The Deschutes County Children and Families Commission and local video production company Visual Thinking has produced two public service announcements for Deschutes County. These videos were created to increase awareness about teen depression and how it is one of the risk factors for suicide. The videos also encourage parents and peers to reach out to teens who exhibit the warning signs of depression. Click on the links below to view the videos on YouTube.

The suicide prevention videos and trainings are sponsored by the Deschutes County Children & Families Commission through the Garrett Lee Smith Youth Suicide Prevention Grant. Filming, editing, and distribution assistance has been donated by Kevin Raichl, owner of Visual Thinking.
