The Purpose and Scope are:
1) To assess current efforts and identify gaps.
2) Ensure program alignment.
3) Guide priorities.
4) Act as a liaison for specific target populations and/or institutions.
5) Seek solutions for identified gaps.
6) Change public conversations around suicide to highlight resources, actions, and hope.
