COVID-19: Deschutes County Behavioral Health
Deschutes County Behavioral Health is committed to continuing to provide services to our clients as safely as possible as we navigate the many ways that COVID-19 is impacting our community. In an effort to keep clients and staff safe, we have implemented a number of strategies:
- Many of our services are now available by phone and/or video link.
- Clients who do not need to be seen face to face are encouraged to call their clinician and schedule services by phone.
- We have suspended group services in order to comply with social distancing advice.
- Everyone we serve is screened for signs of illness, recent travel or contact with someone confirmed to have COVID-19.
- Individuals with symptoms of illness, recent travel or concerning contacts are encouraged to take precautionary steps, such as getting services by phone/video, wearing a mask while in the building and maintaining a safe distance from staff while using services.
Please contact your clinician or the main line at (541) 322-7500 if you have questions about current services.
In addition, we are working closely with those responding to this crisis to provide information about how people can support their mental health as they deal with the realities of COVID-19. The Deschutes County crisis phone line is available 24 hours a day at (541) 322-7500 x9 or by calling (800) 875-7364 (toll free)
