Deschutes County Reports Fourth COVID-19 Death

Deschutes County Health Services is saddened to report the fourth COVID-19 death in a Deschutes County resident.

A 79-year-old woman in Deschutes County who tested positive for COVID-19 died July 23. She was associated with the long-term care facility outbreak and had underlying conditions.

"Our thoughts are with the family as they grieve the loss of their loved one." said Deschutes County spokesperson Morgan Emerson. "We need our community's help to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Stay home when you are sick, wear a mask when you're around people you don't live with and practice physical distancing."

Oregon Health Authority will include this information in an upcoming release. There are no additional details available at this time.
