Peer Center Services
Deschutes County Behavioral Health (DCBH), a service area within Deschutes County Health Services, as part of Deschutes County, a political subdivision of the State of Oregon, is releasing this competitive RFP to select a contractor for the provision of Peer Support Services.
Service activities should include (but is not limited to):
- Peer Support activities
- Creating a warm, welcoming, and safe community that promotes recovery and stability for Deschutes County Behavioral Health clients.
- Supporting members with: accessing community resources, activities of daily living, creating meaningful connections, and gaining/ maintaining skills for recovery from mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Deschutes County’s decision in selecting a successful proposal shall be based on:
- The extent with which the proposed strategies are aligned with the mission and vision of this RFP.
- Demonstration for how the proposed plan will create a structured supportive environment for those living with mental illness while fostering positive interaction with peers, and encourage attendance in activities that teach skills necessary for recovery.
- Delivery of work in a manner that is culturally and linguistically responsive, and has the ability to reach the population intended.
- Reasonableness of a budget and timeline for project launch.
