Deschutes County to move to Lower Risk on Friday
Effective Friday, May 21, Deschutes County will move from the “high risk” to the “lower risk” level of Oregon’s health and safety framework.
This move follows the State's May 11 announcement that counties that vaccinate at least 65% of their residents 16 or older with at least one dose and submit documentation on how they will close equity gaps in their vaccination efforts are eligible to move to the Lower Risk level.
The changes will allow increased capacity in businesses and facilities across Deschutes County.
