Proposal Summary

The applicant requests Board approval of Development Agreement pursuant to ORS 94.504 for the Thousand Trails Bend-Sunriver RV Campground. The purpose of the agreement is to memorialize the development rights originally authorized by a 1973 Master Plan which includes a maximum of 520 total camp sites on the subject property.

Proposal Status

A public hearing before the Board of County Commissioners was held on September 25, 2024.  

The Board of County Commissioners voted to close the oral portion of the hearing and leave the written record open in accordance with the following dates.

Comments must be received by the date and time noted below:

1. New Evidence and Testimony - Wednesday, October 9 at 4pm

2. Rebuttal Evidence and Testimony - Wednesday, October 16 at 4pm

3. Final Legal Argument (Applicant Only) - Wednesday, October 23, at 4pm

Once the record is closed, the BOCC will set a date to start their deliberations, which will be published here and www.deschutes.org/meetings.
