  • You can check the status of your permit at anytime, 24/7. Simply visit the BuildingPermits.Oregon.gov and navigate to your permit. Watch the video below for step by step instructions.

How to Check the Permit Status in ePermitting

 

1. Log in to your Oregon ePermitting account. https://aca-oregon.accela.com/oregon/Default.aspx

2. Search for jobsite address using the street number and first three letters of street name (less is more for this search field)

3. For more details on the permit/record, click on the permit ID that is highlighted in blue. 

  • Building Permits: There may be supplemental mechanical, electrical or plumbing permits related to your structure permit project. Those permits will stay in ‘additional info needed’ until the structure permit is issued.                                                                                                                  

                                         

4. Select Processing Status from the Record Info/Schedule Inspections drop down menu. There you will find more information about the active and previous processes.

Status Definitions

The status' below are for building and onsite permits which include permits ending in -STR, -DWL, -MECH, -PLM,  -ELEC , -PRMT, & -AUTH.            

 
Status Definition

App Submitted

A Permit Technician will review the application in the order it was submitted
App Submitted/Addl Info Needed
  1. Application is incomplete or;
  2. Application is Complete and intake fees are due
Awaiting Review Intake process is complete, Permit has been routed to the appropriate division (Onsite/Planning/Building)
In Review Permits has been assigned to reviewer and their review has begun
In Review/Addl Info Needed Additional information has been requested such as questions or documents pertaining to the project.
Ready to Issue Permits have been reviewed and approved by the applicable divisions
Withdrawn/Void Applications can be withdrawn if the permit is duplicate, incorrect permit type, or the permit is not allowed due to Building Code regulations.
Permit Issued Permits were approved and fees were paid, construction can begin.
Expired Final Inspections were not complete/conducted prior to 180 day expiration.
