Deschutes County expands permitting hours in La Pine and Sisters

Starting Monday, April 2, Deschutes County Community Development will offer expanded hours for residents to meet with permit technicians in La Pine and Sisters.

“We’re seeing an increase in development activity and increased demand for our permitting services,” said Community Development Director Nick Lelack. “By expanding our hours in our satellite offices, we hope to make it as easy as possible for city and county residents to get the information they need.”

In La Pine, staff will be available at City Hall on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In Sisters, staff will be available at City Hall on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Permit technicians will be available to answer questions, accept applications, issue permits and accept payment for permit fees.
