Permit Process |

Step 1 Planning / Zoning |
Confirm project complies with all County land use provisions, such as setbacks, maximum building height, lot coverage, or zoning requirements. In some instances, a planning review may be required before a building permit application can be submitted. If you are unsure Ask a Planner. |
Step 2 Environmental Soils |
Confirm project complies with all County land use provisions, such as setbacks, maximum building height, lot coverage, or zoning requirements. In some instances, a planning review may be required before a building permit application can be submitted. If you are unsure Ask a Planner. |
Step 3 Building Application |
Professionals with a license number may apply for permits online using Oregon State’s E-Permitting website. Access to this system can be gained by registering a license number through the State of Oregon’s Building Code Division. Otherwise, permits may be applied for through the County’s Community Development Department 541-388-6575. |
Step 4 Inspections |
Manufactured Homes require an installation, pumping, electrical, and a final inspection. The final inspection is the last step in the permitting process; no Certificate of Occupancy is issued for Manufactured Homes. Inspections can be scheduled online with a permit number or property address through Oregon State’s E-Permitting website or the E-Permitting App, which can be found in the iTunes and Google Play store by searching for “Oregon ePermitting”. Alternatively, inspections can be scheduled by Phone. |
